Nach einem gewöhnlichen Start von WoWs wurde mit mitgeteilt das mein Nutzername schon vergeben ist? Nunja, ich hatte dieses Problem schon einmal, habe eine Eins an den Namen gehangen und mich erstmal eingeloggt. Es war ein Komplett neuer Account.

Das letzte mal habe ich das Problem umgangen in dem Ich die Steam_API unbenannt hatte und konnte mich in meinen Alten Account über Steam einloggen.

Jetzt funktioniert das aber nicht mehr.

Ich werde immer in einen unnützen neuen Account eingeloggt.


Funfact: Ich hatte die Tage Lust auf WoT und musste den Wargaming-Client installieren, vielleicht hat es irgendwas damit zu tun.

Ein Neuinstall auf Steam von Wows hat auch nicht geholfen.

I had the same problem also a few times.
What helped for me was simple exit the game , try a restart. If that didn’t work I just closed and restart my pc again and after that it was gone, I logged in with my existing account.
