I've had absolutely no technical problems with the recent patches so far, so issue is probably on your end.

Try reverifying cache? Maybe a defrag or scandisk?

Already did.
And a lot more.
I'll just wait for next patch again, since i did not change anything at all.
All other games runs perfectly fine, so PROBABLY not on my end!

as the game is running fine for 1000's of other people I would suggest it is on your End.
Verify Game Files, run a System File check and finally ensure all Drivers are up to date, especially GPU & Chipset.

Good Luck!

Pull up windows resource manager while you're playing the game and see what, if anything, is bottle-necking.
Check to see what other software is hogging that bottlenecked resource and if it is uniquely high.

There's a Win10 update that rolled out over the last 48hrs, so depending on your PC schedule and autoupdate settings, that could be prepping itself in the background.

And of course all the other stuff that can happen in the background on your PC without you having to actually make conscious decisions to suck up its resources.

I've had Google Chrome updates temporarily wreck my PC's performance in the past. I didn't "change anything at all" - I just ran the web browser as I always do; but because running the web browser as I always do allows it to update silently in the background, a change did happen on my end that was causing, briefly, that issue.

Perhaps you suggest wrong?

Latest BIOS, GPU drivers reset/reinstall - all cache cleared.
Like I said, I changed NOTHING, and has been running WOW perfectly for years!

That's a good advice.
But when I do, nothing is bottlenecked.

Computer is almost idle, and no heat on watercooled system.

Did you check the data-access speeds?
Antivirus trying to manually scan updated game files as-and-when they come up can slow down data access; maybe AV update has started ignoring your whitelist (happened to me before).

Hard-drive failing will slow data access, and that has a knock-on effect on page file usage.

Is it just the game that's freezing, or is it causing stutter in background apps? Stream some youtube videos or listen to some MP3s in the background and see if they start freezing too so you can see if the game is stuttering or it's causing elements of your system to stutter too. Is the game client freezing (going completely unresponsive) or is it just the action? If so, what's happening to latency? Is ping shooting up then coming back down again when the freezes happen?

Ok, so I tried to check this as best I could.
I did not see something wrong I guess, but not 100% sure with this one.

I have a 4tb m2 and connection is 1000/1000.

What I also did, was checking windows update, there was a minor update.
And I tried disable Hyperthreading (Just for fun).

So far I played one full game with no freezing.
And yeah, it freezes, not stutter at all, butter smooth when running.
Ace42 Jan 16 @ 8:02am
So, it's not stuttering - it's just locking up altogether?
And forcing you to kill the process and restart it?

Is Windows Event Viewer recording error logs for the application faulting? If so, the faulting module or error code can potentially give you clues to where the problem lies.
Do you mean the freezes in port when Querying Friends lists ??

and literally it was meant as no offence, but the fact your the only person mentioning this it is unlikely it is a "Game" problem (unless it is the large friend list issue) and more a your setup\config something there issue otherwise the forums would be packed with people complaining both here and on Official Discord!

m.2 uses pcie express lanes. maybe a voltage droop ? but from what i read here. random people seem to have issues around microslop updates which also firefox usually has 2 at same time. ive also seen people with the pause updates turned on it can screw up game play. i would just get everything updated if you havent already. make sure your hard wired internet. possibly wifi channels being interupted.

Yeah ok, no problem.
But you must understand its frustrating coming back, when before no problems at all.

But sometimes its a driver update or something else.
But not all mention problems, they just move on to other games, which I was thinking about, and then you'll never know.
Doesn't mean its running perfect for ALL.

You could contact support. They'll be able to read the game's log and it might tell them something.
Can you explain exactly when it is freezing? In games? in Port? When going to Armoury or such ?

That's a good question.

Game always crashes in menu when selecting a new ship.
I can go 3 rounds no problems (or more), but when selecting new ship, it crashes randomly.
Never crash in a fight.
