Depends what you're looking for.

If you're looking for fun 12vs12 PvP action game, then it's worth playing. It has a deceptive amount of depth to the mechanics.
It can be enjoyed F2P fine if you're patient and not super-fussed about any of the premium content (ships).

If you're looking for a naval simulator, then it'll be disappointing. The PvE modes *can* be passable, but they're not the game's primary focus.

Its the biggest. You can try war thunder naval. But its way more indepth. And I dunno ACE. That new PvE mode they teased looks legit. Well have to see however. But yes, this is a pvp game.

Yes, in my personal opinion nothing comes close. It was the original and the copies don't get much right.

For a multiplayer arcadey PVP thing, yes I think so. Better than War Thunder imo, and it mostly comes down to the concealment meta-game. In general, having more gameplay that isn't focused on aiming. WoWS simplifies that, allowing the player to focus more on using cover, concealment, consumables. In WT, I feel locked into the sniper view the whole time because the aiming system needs all these constant calibrations. Also, I think the people who complain about CVs would be apoplectic with WT where one bomb getting through is often fatal.

Perilous Route is quite interesting so far. And despite being PvE needs for the playerteam to actually use their brains, else they will lose.

I cant wait for the salt farms its going to produce. I have no idea how some of these people manage in randoms with the way they play operations.....thats mean of me to say, but true none the less.
