Ranked game details
Can you please explain he rules of ranked games a little better, i found it very confusing. And couldnt find information on what was what.

Session, Season, Sprint, this terminology is confusing.
Why was the only time i could enter ranked battles at a stupid time of the day when i was at work? Seems biast towards USA players. Will the time frame change or always be this way?

Why was my rank reset back to bronze 10 when i just literally made silver a few days ago? Arent i still in the same season? did i have a time limit to finish the 5 qualification battles? Like i said, im really confused.
Im sure there is a reason but i cant find any place where all this is explained.

Just some quick replies cause I have to run...
Yes, I think Ranked just reset.
It's set to the time when the most players on the server are active.
Each sprint reverts to Bronze. Each sprint lasts a few weeks.

Ranked battles are in seasons. Every season has several sprints, the current season 22 has five of them, which are usually two weeks each. And the rules about which ships can be used will stay the same over the full season. After the season has ended, any ranks and leagues you reached are lost. And the next season is likely to have slightly different ship tiers for the leagues.

Sprints are usually 14 days long and will only reset your progress in the league you are already in. But they won't reset your league. So if you managed to finish qualification for the next higher league before a sprint ends, you will start the next sprint in that league. And yes, you have to finish qualification before the sprint ends, else you have not yet advanced.

The exact times during which Ranked battles is available during the day depends on the server you are playing on and chosen in a way that it mostly covers the prime time. USA players playing on the NA server should have no problems playing in the evening, outside of usual work hours. But it may depend on your job and time zone.

I hope that helps somewhat.

That does help Christof, thanks for taking the time to explain it. Jeez if i had of known about that qualification period i would have grind more intensly. The fact they gave me a big shiny popup saying i made silver, then gave me a lootbox as reward, was a little deceptive. I let my guard down due to that.

It's probably not too big of a deal as the rewards don't get substantially better as you go up. Being reset may even get you more steel faster as Bronze league is the easiest. I don't bother with going past it myself. I don't really have the time to grind all the way through. You usually spend a lot more time and battles for the rewards the higher you go.

Clock on Ranked Season 22 at the bottom. It'll show rewards and rules.

TY sir, and yeah i see your point, plus it would be much easier to go through the bronze again, for basically the same rewards again. Not so bad.

Yes, the main thing with the silver or gold is if you knocked out bronze and still want more (who doesn't?) well, there you go! There's more!

Obviously the skill level tends to rise as you progress through the leagues. Good players dont tend to hang around in bronze for very long (and so on).
