Now I play with chat permanently off, it's much better for my sanity.
Here Is the kicker we were headed towards the cv and the cv was going In full speed towards us. I turned to the right and fired one set of my main guns killing a almost a full health cv from the front ,I could not believe It beside from the side, I have never done that ever, I thought It was a full health cv. Afer this I just typed lol again in chat. But he still placed higher than me In stats I could not believe It lol. Three ships I stole from him and did not do It Intentionally and was borderline rage sicko.
He was on the other team and managed to somehow die in the first 3 minutes of the match (high tier game). He then spent the next 8-9 minutes raging about a Jager on his team and telling us where he was, shouting things like "JAGER ON E1, KILL THIS LOWLIFE" and so on. And all this despite the fact the Jager was on the opposite flank to him so had nothing to do with him getting sunk.
Personally just felt sorry for the Jager who was my direct competition on that flank and honestly wouldnt fancy being in his position with some toxic teammate trying to sabotage me, hence the ticket to support.
For the record, revealing allied positions is against the EULA and earns you an automatic chatban. Of course, avoiding dropping to their level is a good idea :)
Thanks for the reply.
Not to be mean or combative but maybe thats a sign that you need to address how you type in chat and treat people ingame???? I am not you and have never met you ingame (to my knowledge). It just seems to me that you would be better served monitoring your attitude vs turning off chat which makes you liable to missing pieces of important communication with your team. Like I said, not dumping on you and I hope you do not take it as such. We all have flaws and I have my fair share,
In other news. I have yet to get a chat ban. But thats because the only time I get snippy is when someone starts laying into team members extra hard. And its mostly just to remind them that is a video game and that is not worth the negative feelings they are feeling. Which mostly ends in them telling me to fly a kite and I block them. I am just not that smart it would seem.
From 5 up it gets worse and it is usually the below 50% players who rage a lot!
My mistake was taking the convo to the Direct Message after game as I was sooooooo annoyed and I went total North English Rage on the person!! in reflection .... I should just have reported it all and walked away but the Whiskey said no ...... Sorry WG!!
As for things getting worse, sadly thats a societal thing rather than a specifically WoWs thing.
