How to enter the CV test server??

If you have downloaded their Steam World of Warships Public Test, then you just click "Play" as usual.

BUT, you won't get into the Test server if they have it closed.

From yesterday they uploaded for testing the Aircraft Carrier BUT only on their WG PT Launcher, not on their Steam. I think they will upload it in a month or so (if I am not wrong). Moderators can give you more explanations on this matter

I have no idea how to get the PTS on Steam but from what I understand it installs a whole second client, so I guess I can just download the WGC for it?

Content creators say it's up, the WGC client said it's up, the website says it ended 2 days ago and in the forums people say they can't access it.

Found a different page on the WG website that also says it's up, but doesn't call it "round 2".

What I mentioned above. The aircraft carrier is up for testing but only on the WG WoW PT not on Steam WoW PT.

I asked on the Discord and they told me that on Steam the testing arrives after a month or so.

Well, as I understand, first they test it through their WGC PT and then they add it for testing on Steam WoW PT

You can easily download their WGC PT launcher if you want

it is on the CLAN Test Server not the PTS Server, you need the WG Client and download and install the whole different CLANST version!

Install an additional instance of the game.
In the WGC, navigate to World of Warships.
Open the "Game Settings" menu and select "Install additional game instance."
Select "Region: CLANST" in the upper-left corner of the screen that appears.
Click the "Install" button.

Oh I thought that there was only one type of test server as I remember. When did they create a clan test server?

Clan Super Test has been around as long as I can remember, but only invited clans get to usually use it, for testing Clan based activities before they go to PTS.

This time they are using it for the CV Rework as PTS is being used for the next patch.

Well, I am a Beta tester of WoW but I don't remember having it.
Maybe they added when I was away from gaming some years now and when I return I never notice it.

I ran out of patience waiting to play CV there where over 50 waiting to play CV and it was not processing very quickly LOL but the client download worked fine and you could play other types of ships quickly enough

The CV test is indeed on a whole other server than usual playtests. So you will have to download a full client for it anyway. Having to use the WGC thus doesn't make much of a difference, to be honest.

Playing on it with CVs can be an issue though. So if you're just out for quick battles, check the queue and choose your ship class accordingly.

You'll probably have to do it through the WGC. Don't worry, you should now be able to link your steam account.
