Personally I tend to play when not in div
You're the guy who was misplaying by letting a BB with a hydro just sail right on top of his sub, and then blamed the game balance for the inevitable outcome where you got sunk, yeah?
If so, removing divisions from the game won't change the outcome of your battles.
Didn't you post a while back saying you were quitting the game altogether because of "the matchmaker"?
I guess we can add "divisions" and "clans" existing to your reasons for not-really-leaving the game?
On top of "the most impactful class in the game not being powerful enough" for you? Was that before shotgunning nerf, too?
Consider unhiding your WoWS-numbers profile, so you can use that data as the basis for a program of self-improvement.
Because fixing misplays will see you have better matches; whereas creating excuses so you don't have to remedy defects in your play is a barrier to having better matches.
FWIW: Divisioning up is multiplicative. Good players see their WRs improve when divisioned; bad players see their winrate go down when divisioned.
As most players are bad at the game - you want to see divisions on the enemy team. It means them co-ordinating their misplays and destroying each other's battle impact; and thus granting you easier victories.
Lots of players pretty much exclusively solo-queue, and still manage healthy winrates despite facing divisions just as frequently as you do.
Either way:
WG aren't going to ruin the game for every single player who wants to queue with friend(s) just to save you from acknowledging the effect your own decision making has on your matches.
So if you want better matches:
Upload some replay files to replayswows.com (and / or upload VODs to YouTube / Twitch / Wherever if you want to be especially considerate);
create a thread asking for feedback with links to those replays;
profit from the advice of people who manage to hard carry solo queue matches in the face of unicum-clan divisions.
Will save you finding a brand new excuse for not-really-quitting in six months time, and coming back here next christmas.
but also, git gud / bring your own div / cry more / etc.
also you dont know unfair until you've played vs triple smolensk div pre range nerf, or T8 CV + musashi anti-cv sniper divs, or triple kitakami torp oceans
Yeah, I don't think that's going to happen.
Besides, a division is only a problem if the players in it are good. And those players would still be an issue even if they weren't in a division. Yes, them coordinating will make things harder for you. At the same will an enemy division made of bad players make your win chances quite a bit better. And trust me, it's quite definitely not just good players playing in divisions.
Fail divs just need a warning about how the MM works - if someone in a T5 wants to play with their T6 mate who's in a sub or a CV, that seems fine if they accept what that entails.
But certainly some of the more toxic divs (all DD, yuck. Yeet-fleet, sure. All BB to an extent. Oh, and "all the planes" divs - gag) being choice-limited makes sense and is colourable.
Also they've said allowing fail divs is intentional
