Pink notice aka voilations
for the past two weeks maybe more I've logged in entered a battle and I'm stuck in the loading screen awaiting players and the start battle button fails to show and you can see your battle take place on the team rooster mini map and then when you are never going play cause you've not been granted access to the "playing field" you press your ESC key, then ba da boom ba da bing your the violator = "pink is the new black" WHY?

The game can't tell the difference between you disconnecting because you want to or disconnecting because your files and/or internet is having a problem.

First solution would be to verify your files through Steam. Often this fixes it.

If that doesn't work, contact player support. They'll get the game's log from you and find out what's causing it.
it happens more often just before update and after update

The game client cannot recover gracefully from a network disconnect/timeout during the session. That's what I noticed.
So we must smile and wave...because big brother is useless but has the power thanks to Wallet Warriors that suffer from FOMO, so when we expect proper service we are deemed not worthy, they can tell when there is a bug, but fail to fix it cause we Smile and wave

This symptom happens when the game is taking an exceptionally long time to load-in data. It's a problem on your end.
When it happened to me, it was because my hard-drive was failing, causing micro-freezing and access-time delays.

Anything that extends the data transfer from storage will cause this symptom - so bad anti-virus continually scanning all the files as they're loading; incorrectly configured bus; any other bottlenecks in your PC; excessive defragmentation; a corrupt installation; a ton of resource-intensive modifications; etc, etc.

and then when you are never going play cause you've not been granted access to the "playing field" you press your ESC key, then ba da boom ba da bing your the violator = "pink is the new black" WHY?

Assuming your computer isn't just so terribly broken that it eventually times out on its own or the match just ends, the game *will load in eventually* even if you miss the first five-to-ten minutes of the match.

So you choosing to quit before that happens is "why" you're punished for quitting early.

As far as WG are concerned, the only problem is your lack of patience and inability to troubleshoot your own PC without throwing a tantrum.

The punishment system is very mild considering how disruptive ANY afking is, irrespective of whether it's done through ignorance as in your case, or malice as in the case of ragequitters, etc.

What you say may have merit, but it happens on the rare occasions but enough time to chap my arse the average game lasts 20 minute and you can try click the mouse tap your keys to get a response which can be futile so if "they don't want you to play you walk away" the magic key ESC.
But if you wait for the game mechanic to kick in 8 min left which I've experience as stated watching mini map you get flag for been AFK or inactive but was not,...catch 22 "pink is the new black" So to sum up - one should not sweat little things cause its not the product but the users fault. OK

It's factually correct.

I've explained why it happens. Why on earth would you thinking tapping keys and moving your mouse around - all of which consumes a small fraction of CPU runtime - would make your hard-drive stream in resources quicker?

But if you wait for the game mechanic to kick in 8 min left which I've experience as stated watching mini map you get flag for been AFK

Yes - if your computer is so bust that it can't load in resources before so much of the match has finished that you get flagged as AFK, you'll be treated like any other AFK.

Because the effect your bust PC has on all the other players in the match is the same as you being deliberately AFK.

Are you in a menu when you start searching for a game? When I play in a division; if I am in the armoury or tech tree and my division lead starts matchmaking I will be forever stuck just like your description.

If it happens regularly, it's either your PC or your internet connection at some point, ISP, Wifi, router etc.

Just as a sidenote: On the rare occasions that I got stuck on the start screen of the battle like that, a quick restart always let me join the battle. And without taking a penalty or going pink as well. So certainly worth a try instead of just sitting there and waiting.

But if it really does happen constantly and regularily, something is broken somewhere. Most likely some corrupted data or, if it's a problem right after updates, a mod causing issues. Maybe an issue with your firewall or router. Potentially something along the way causing issues, maybe run a ping-plotter in that case to try and find where.
