Super ships are pretty over rated.
Yes thats what it seems like.
If this really makes it into the game, it will probably be the only supership ill buy and use.
It does reduce my urge to get smaland.
So sure i'll use it, but that doesn't mean i dont think its rediculous.
It will at least make playing Marcau easier as now all DD have to worry about being spotted at 7km.

The hydro lasts 120s at the moment but obviously that can be modified with signals etc. Its subject to change anyway since its not even entered testing as yet. Its the sort of thing that people will have to play around and im sure that some will messup against it while unaware of its stats but tbh in a tier spread that includes Anapolis and super CVs I cant say it sounds that silly.
I dont see the issue with all the supercruisers anyway. If a cruiser spots me, i'm pretty much toast anyway, no matter if its super or not. I do care about a DD that will see me while i can't see it, and that can smoke up and still see me. And those russian 12km cruisers, yes, you need to be careful before you know where they are. And when you do, you spot them from a safe place and press F3 on them until your team kills them. None of that will apply to this. You cannot spot the Z57 because it spots you long before you spot it.
Note that this has a multitude of advantages over the "normal" smoke+radar DD. A radar DD only really works great if you predict where you are going to meet the enemy DD so you can slow down and smoke up instantly if you spot each other rather than having speed which you first need to lose before you can smoke up, which usually means losing a big portion of your hitpoints. And then, you need to worry about the torps being fired at your smoke.
All of those issues are not there for the Z57. The Z57 will be able to first spot the enemy, before it is spotted. It can then reduce speed and smoke up before it opens fire. And it needs not worry about the torps because it sees them already when they are fired.
Edit: As for the parts you added to the above post, its not got great surface stealth. Fully specced it will be something around 6.4km (im sure someone can check my maths on this lol) so is outstealthed by a lot of DDs in its spread. If its moving in at a crawl to hydro and smoke when it acquires a target then the opponent will be right at the edge of its range and will have no trouble disengaging.
