Please share your thoughts about Anhalt!
A German battleship with 15 guns? I'm interested - how does she play? Have you already found any obvious strengths / weknesses or quirks ? I'd appreciate any thoughts or experiences you would like to share!

Also to any who bought the Admirality package: Does the captain get her own voice-over?

A great big "meh."

I find pretty much every other German T8 BB more fun personally. Except maybe Zeitan. It was ok... But a fast sell when I unlocked the T9.

The guns have less AP penetration than Scharnhorst above 5 km. This means you run into troubles against anything thicker than slightly angled heavy cruisers. Additionally, you have a 30 mm turtle back, which is overmatched by pretty much any other battleship around this tier, meaning it does absolutely nothing. You have funny torps but only 2 per side and they also have the same 6 km range as the Scharni and you don't have Hydrophone (lol?). Then you're also slower, larger and have half the secondaries of the Bismarck.

Tier for tier it look absolutely terrible and Scharnhorst is arguably a flat out better ship at a lower tier.

EDIT: Anhalt has roughly 10% more AP penetration than the Graf Spee LMAO

The only T8 BBs I'd consider buying are the ones with radar or Lenin/Massa which are removed. The rest don't seem all that interesting or strong compared to the tech trees unless you want something niche like an AA spec Flandre or secondary spec Kii.

Seen lots of videos on you tube he seems ok on ships 40% of the people playing them says its just ok but to wait till black friday , but most games the damage was above 80,000 . ♥♥♥♥ Flamo did 175,000 damage still lost the battle and he said It was garbage. If i did 175,000 or above 80,000 ,I don't think its a bad ship. If you have everything might as well get It...

The spotlight video for it made it sound very...well as others have said meh.
The better HE in exchange for worse AP seemed a perplexing thing to mention.
Turtle back is cool and all I suppose but there are better tech tree ships that do it better.
Overall the spot lot didn't make me want it.
