How to watch replays?
When I open a replay file, it just puts me in the wargaming launcher and puts me in game, how do you watch replays?

Also, replays do save the chat, right?

Just double click it and it should start the game. That's how it works, but instead of being able to play, you'll watch the replay.

Yes it includes the chat.

I tried that, but it keeps just putting me into the game, into port like I started the game regularly. I don’t get why, I am opening the replay, it says it’s a WoWS file.

Yea, that doesn't make any sense to me.... Are the replays older than this patch? Last I knew they only work with the patch they were made on.

It’s just a few hours old, so it shouldn’t.

I dunno then! I don't have much experience with them. Maybe ask on the official forums.

Never mind, I finally figured it out —

so you have to have the wargaming client already open (the launcher), otherwise it opens the launcher and puts you in game like normal.

Ok I never used it before, I love when playing with the replay speed, it thinks your 22 knot battleship is going 731 million knots.

Edit: I’m apparently going 647,744,864,696,666,624.0 knots.
Edit2:
5,030,050,450,492,720,318,418,780,160.0 knots
Edit3: there are so many integers that the number nearly stretches to the rudder shift GUI

Replays are pretty fun ngl.

The problem with that is you are unable to control the camera. The ingame replays offer a lot of versatility in the way you view the battle. You can free spin the camera on the ship independent of the player or even detach the camera from the ship and fly it around the map.
