Its one-salvo potential is kinda fun, if not amazingly reliable.
Does the LegMod work with the premium event version?
If so, you've got the potential to do a unique fire-baiting build with Super Heavy AP skill + Furious, or a mix thereof.
On the OPs topic Montana is a pure battleship, It's simple and strong, they already had a character who was for secondary ships (Terpitz) They wanted to spread them between different countries I think, each character you can get is a different country I noticed.
(I assume it's for when the next round comes, they can just put a ship out for them)
I just checked, it does, but I don't have the research points to buy it. Never interested in re-grinding a line.
I'll try it out when I have enough points from events or the battle pass.
Unless you love the Haragumo line - just save up your FXP and reset the line every time the 2x bonus comes up and you've got ~650k FXP or however much it is.
Costs zero credits, you get more than a LegMod's worth of RB from it each reset (so can earn a ship's worth from it every 9 months or so), and you only ever have to buy and play ships in that line one battle each when you are ready to cash out all the points you've built up.
2. Equip Hoshino voice in settings
3. Replace Lutjens' portrait with Hoshino's
4. Play Schlieffen with Lutjens
Also "good" is relative. Good in Coop or Ops isn't necessarily good in Random. Depends on what mode you play and what you're looking for. WG only balanced ships based on Random though.
Some ships suffer in stats because of their popularity, they might be fine and good ships of their own but if there's historical significance or something else that makes it super popular, lots of people will play it really badly.
Same with new ship lines looking OP because typically old players or really good players have extra resources to get that ship first, and their great skill artificially increases the stats
You could have the worst ship in the game played by Yuro and it would look broken
Not just those reasons but old ships vs new, special variants vs tech tree (Black, Clr, etc) as well as what Chatbot mentioned.
Plus they're still only good for random. Some ships that suffer in random are outstanding against bots.
