are CV always immune to subs's ping?
its so fun to play subs but ngl this sht gonna need some balancing in the future
ping + torps are fun but there are some circumstances that not allow me to ping, like if i get too close to the target, and there are CVs
i can never ping them
are they immune to this?
any answer with explanation would be appreciated, thanks :steamhappy:

CVs have 60s damage control parties.

With a not too long cooldown as well. Thus they are as immune to pinging as they are too fires and flooding. Not entirely, but you need to put it on repeatedly and don't have too long a window of opportunity once the damcon runs out.

I'd suggest not complaining about not being able to ping a CV since the CV basically has no real way to attack you (Unless his allies can protect them or you sit at the surface when planes happen to be going over)
You're very hard to find and even harder to hit by CV
From what I understand, not using pings is far better since it doesn't give you away

they are getting an auto depth charge strike later on

Yes I've read that, I'm interested in seeing it

I wonder whether they'll get an auto detonate as well.

I kind of like CVs and do want them in game, but even I have to admit this is fairly ironic…

Yes CV has trouble attack the sub, it is quite amusing.
