So if you sell that ship for credits, you can always rebuy that ship at a later date and it will still be there.
Perma-camos behave exactly the same - they stay associated with the ship and will be there for when you return to it.
Most efficient way to farm RB points is to save up FXP over the course of 3 months while waiting for the 2x reset bonus to recover - then FXP-and-reset the Haragumo line.
The RB points will keep stacking every time you reset the line, so you only have to spend the credits on one occasion in order to "cash out" each ship in the line when they've built up sufficient RB points.
If you're regrinding the line manually, you're losing credits every reset - which is fine if credits are a resource you aren't concerned with and you are happy brute-forcing the grind to benefit from shipXP and just 1x RB multipliers.
But obviously it's not the most efficient way of doing it; and as battleship lines tend to cost more credits than other lines to progress, that will further harm the efficiency of using shipXP to regrind.
