Welp... I don't know about you guys but those prices are just beyond my measly wallet anyways. Just wondering how the rest of you guys find it. (It's anime so I bet some are willing to pay those prices). I can already hear those whales from the distance making their mating call.

Soyuz is just Rossija with slightly better dispersion at range, but worse when close and just stock and thus worse AA and health. And Yukikaze is simply a Kagero with F3 torps, which are fast and slightly harder hitting but with short range in comparison.

And more expensive the new ones aren't either. Those are pretty much standard prices for the respective tier. Maybe up to 5% above at worst. And we haven't seen what exactly is in the packages and what potential Premium Shop prices are.
What we did get in the past, at least sometimes, was a coupon for use on an AL ship specifically. And we don't really know yet whether that will be the case again.

Where WG definitely does try to rake in the big bucks (at least considering the last AL event) is in the older captains, camos and in part ships. Selling them as huge (and expensive) bundles instead of smaller packages or even as single offers.

We can see it's four things there. So ship, captain, port slot and one more thing. Likely the mission.
EDIT: It is NOT the mission. Hiei just rightfully pointed out to me that those never count. And a quick check on the current Tsurugi offer confirmed that, they are always listed as "Bonus".
I'm not convinced it's the flag either though. It's possible, but feels like something they would hide in the bundles.

Quick check showed that the Hornet is perfectly normal priced (tier VIII CVs in the Armoury ranging from 12'300 to 14'000 with only a slot and 3-point captain), while Ägir is somewhat above (19'300 being the standard price for tier IXs in general and Ägir in particular, though again only with port slot and 3-point captain). Shima I can't say since WG is deleting all prices of older events from the news messages once they've finished, so I can't compare with older ARP Yamato offers and such. Feels like it's in the right ballpark though.

And I noticed I forgot to mention AL Montpellier in my list above. In comparison to Cleveland it has slightly more hp and accuracy, losing the fighter option (not that anyone with sound mind would ever take that anyway) and a bit of reload speed. Again, not really a different ship.

Would be interesting if they actually did more tweaking to these AL ships. Like giving AL Helena a radar and AL Flandre better secondaries, changes that corresponds to the skills in the original game.

The new ones are the exact same ship, no modifications to stats at all. At least the first ones WERE different in some way. And lets not forget that in the first two events you could actually buy the new content in one bundle, you were not forced to either buy smaller packs with older commanders/ships nor were you forced to gamble for the captains(like in the last event)

A good idea would have been to simply add the coal ships as a mini "pay" event similar to the Jäger. People can get them for free resources like a bit of steel, coal and a mission list...

Yeah I found my Littorio coupon...

make sure you didn't log into the game Armory from the website,
but actually went to the Premium Shop:

if you actually click on the "My Coupons" at the top,
it takes you to the AL coupons,
then if you click one of the coupons,
it takes you to all of the premium Shop AL stuff.

Littorio and its discount are at the bottom when you scroll down.
