Is the game dying ?
I know, it was a clickbait title, dont take it too serious.

I noticed something about the naval battles though. I always just enable it and play whatever i have to grind. Its not important enough for the clan to go for max performance there anyway. I think most of my clan members do the same.

Now there is always an opposing clan to measure the score against. Since i started paying attention, they always seem to be Asian. And they always seem to get tiny scores. As if there's only 1 or 2 players active in those clans or something.

How is that ? Is the game dying in asia ? Or are they playing the russian version of the game ? Do they have access to both versions ? Are they just working 80 hours a week to produce our solar panels and iPhones and have no time to play ?
Just wondering...

Not really sure why this needs to be asked every few weeks... Nothing significant changed since the last post about this...

My observation is that the player count has gone down a bit, but skill has gone down a lot. It seems a lot of the better players left over subs but a lot of new players came in. All you have to do is look for the server counts to see how many people are playing and compare to whenever. (Don't use Steam numbers though since they are only a small % of the player base).

You seem to reply to the title of my post rather than the contents :)

The title should represent the post. This is pretty basic internet knowledge ;)

But no, your whole post seems to be about how you see less activity.

As for naval battles, I usually forget it exists so my hours playing wouldn't show there at all!

I never understood that naval battle thing. My former clan used to moan at us for it, i just clicked it and thought oh well, DONE.

What don't you get about it?
After turning it on, you just try for the goals and if you beat the goal you earn oil for your clan which allows upgrades.

No its not. Its specifically about the clans in naval battle. I posted a few suggestions i could think of what it could be. I thought maybe someone is going to have an explanation for this observation. Maybe confirm or deny my suggestions, maybe come with something entirely different.

I don't think NBs really represent anything. My clan has lots of active players and we still only got around 70-110 stars the last 5 weeks. I play every day and in the same period I only averaged 7.5 stars per week, excluding an inflated week with 30. Wouldn't help that modes like CBs don't count either.

Lots of people just don't enable them. There's no motivation. We have the naval base maxed out, >1.2M oil sitting in reserve, and command only spends 75k on the double crates the end of clan seasons. Would need more of a reward than oil to get people interested.

It's the best online game ever made, of course it's not dying

Ye we also get around 100 mostly. But asian "opponents" often get like 10-20

In the duels, my clan regularily sees NA or EU clans as opponents as well. More often than ASIA ones. And most of the time, they make somewhere between 20 and 60 stars. Sometimes they make less, down to 0. Very rarely they make more. Usually I only see such results when a group battle weekend is coming around.

I think what clans you meet in duels might hang somewhat on what position the clans are in on the long term ranking? Seems possible at least. And if a clan was originally very active but recently has hardly anyone paying attention to NB (or the game in general) anymore, it can easily end up as described above.

My apologies then. I suspect if there's a change that Nepgear is probably right. There's not much incentive for folks in upgraded clans.

This depends on your "Rank" in naval battles, we get around 200 and we play vs teams getting 200 hence we do all the x2's and ask members to turn them on if only for 1 or 2 each the oil earned, as base is maxed, is spent on crates and crates and oh did i mention more crates! haha So yeah we do many "not so super" containers and such! as for teams not trying ... if your rank is low you will meet teams who simply do not give a monkeys uncle about it and going up those rankings takes ages!!!

I'm not really sure why you care if he asked it 10 times a week are 30 it's his right if he is a paying player.

Fact remains that if a specific question has been addressed recently then there is zero need to make a new topic about it.
