What's a good funny commander?

Just as title says, I do have the lobster guy but wondering if we have any other commanders out there that are form other nations that makes sassy jokes or voice when you use a command.

Theres quite a lot of weird and wonderful commanders in the armoury and theres always some that appear in things like the Halloween event. Personally I hate having them shouting at me and have the voices turned off so im not really qualified to suggest which have funny voice lines. The one I do remember is the Jingles commander who frequently misidentifies ships ("enemy DD sighted!" when spots a BB etc) much like his real life counterpart does in his YT vids :)

You can set voiceovers to "extended":
Settings > Audio > Voiceover section > Modification > extended
You'll hear all the various different commanders that people have on their ships, if you haven't done this already,so that might help you decide.

I find it's worth doing just because if I associate a unique commander with a ship, it means I automatically associate their voice chatter with that boat without having to think about usernames and who is driving what, etc, etc.
Also gives you a (very generalised, and potentially misleading) sense of who's had enough time in game to acquire special commanders.
There's enough visual cues to make it unnecessary for the dialogue to be in your own language.

Personally I think Mod > Extended should be the default setting, as a lot of players won't even know what's available.

Johannes Meck-leyne is styled after Bruce Willis, and the voice actor is the one who provides the VO dubbing in the German releases of Die Hard IIRC?

Cap and Fishy comes up pretty frequently IIRC.

There's tons of weeb ones from AL / HSF / misc collaborations and promotions; there's the Transformers ones; there's the Warhammer 40k ones. But a lot of these can only be acquired when the events are running.

Oh, how I wished I could get myself a Jingles as commander....

Cap may be to your liking, though some people just find him terrible and annoying.

The German Johann Meck-Leyne (yes, that's supposed to be a germanised John McClane) is great for anyone who understands him. The speaker is the actual German synchro voice for Bruce Willis and he just references one movie role after another.

Megatron is actually quite good and fun.

I like Johannes Meck-Leyne, though you'd need to understand German. Dude is a big Bruce Willis reference. His voice is the same that dubs Willis in virtually all of his movies for German dubs and a lot of his lines are movie references too.

There Is a commander that I use unlike all commanders giving me a edge In game Its a voice over In game . Not going to say what commander It Is. Because WG seems to know every time some thing that I like gets nerfed at one point or another.
. Or If you win more credits they go out of the way to screw It up ,even nerfing ships that have been In game for years.....Because WG seems to be In cheap state of mind now less rewards In general, less steel rewards, less coal rewards, and every thing Is harder to come by In game now. I feel sorry for the new players back a few years ago It was much better.....

That is nonsense, sneakybass, that first paragraph of yours. You are correct that coal and steel rewards have been nerfed (though steel is actually back down on where it was before the battlepasses) and you forgot research points. But the rest is quite honestly sheer fabrication.

Christof kind of glad you never noticed It when you play this captain but I did, I even told my brother about It Its not life changing but I like It a lot. By the way research points have been left alone for now, I have not noticed anything. Hey come to think about It daily's crates rewards are not near as good either.I used to make 75,000 to 108,000 In game coal rewards in one month Its less now. Hardly ever get triple coal even doubles are getting more rare. My brother and I did two months of record keeping and that's a fact. I wonder If WG will give us the 2000 steel for the dock yard,but I'm sure they won't again like the last dockyard, besides trimming off steel from the daily rewards maybe you did not notice that.

Captains haven't been changed that I know of. You got patch notes for this change?

Stuff is easier to come by now. That was proven during the rework with the exception of elite XP. XP, credits and Free XP are all easier/quicker now.

Coal I can't speak to myself, but it comes in faster than I can use it so... it doesn't matter to me. There's surely not shortage of it.

To be honest I'm not going to buy this ship or waist my money out right so I can be shorted 2,000 steel during this dockyard event comin up. If WG gives me my 2000 steel for the dockyard missions,I will buy Into It and get the other steel rewards maybe If the rewards are lower and Im sure they will be . To spend that kind of money what was It to pay In advance 300,00 dollars It give or take. Or I can just grind this ship. I come here for the full amount of steel rewards and that goes for daily rewards also. 300 bucks Is not worth 6,000 steel 10,000 steel Is where It should be.
