Ohio why?
Just wated 62k reserch points for this trash, contrary to what they write the accuracy is not that good is also with the special fire module, slow, mediocre AA, pathetic anti-sub armament, no torpedo.
For a regular tier X maybe, it have a nice fire range and takes hits well but 62k reserch points are too many for an obsolete ship It could have been great 5 years ago.

Ohio has the second highest win rate, it's one of the best battleships at t10 you can get.

Here is at line 46 https://wows-numbers.com/ships/ maybe was great some years ago, the game as chage, it totally useless against a Sub or in close combat

Honestly havent looked since they upgraded the ASW (this and a few others used to have extremely short range) but it should be comparable to other T10 BBs in this regard since the 13.1 update. The 457mm main guns have very fast (for a BB) reload and are certainly accurate (again, as compared to the opposition). Its also got a fast loading repair, good AA and excellent secondarys. Its a pretty good ship and its performance stats support that. Just because its a RB ship you shouldnt expect it to be hugely better than other T10s.

You have to have it set as battleship at t10 and set as win rate
https://wows-numbers.com/ship/3760142320,Ohio/

As long as it's been out, it's still sitting at a 52% win rate.
Also it's got good secondaries still.
Most ships are useless against subs since they have such a large advantage over anyone else.

It definitely still is lol :) It's probably my favorite high tier battleship. Give it some more practice!

What battleship line is recommended to do with United States? I am thinking of going for Kansas since lead to 450 mm guns at the end but the slow speed discourage me. North Carolina atleast get higher speed and historically those ships were in use and not just theory. Maybe do two lines if can stand the grind Colorado.

If you don't like Colorado you won't like Kansas and the rest. They're all really slow. They trade speed for guns.

The Montana line is by far the most popular. They're all more similar to North Carolina. Decent guns, but faster.

Montana guns can troll you into uninstalling. Fun ship at times, but mostly leaves me with a sense of unease and helplessness.

Stick with it. Everything you say (apart from the no torps) is objectively incorrect so you need to reconsider. I've been on this forum making myself look silly by complaining about ships when I've been clearly wrong - it's OK, it happens!!!

What might be trolling you is the shell flight time - it's not a ship for long range duels, play at mid range and close to ships late game for a 1v1.

And as for "no torps": Just like the vast majority of BBs, including every single USN one. So how could one ever have been unaware of that?

As I wrote it, something WAS nibbling at my mind that I forgot one. THAT one was it! XD

There is ONE USN BB with torps. But only the one.

Well kind of. It's not a battleship, really. Or real. It's a battlecruiser with the name of an aircraft carrier because WG gave it's real name to Saratoga for shockingly silly reasons. And it should summarily be ignored ;)

Gave it a game earlier and I stand by the above comments about it being fine. The issue you are having is probably related to not being used to how the guns handle since they dont work like many other USN BBs. The accuracy is actually a bit of an issue since if you are not leading correctly then the good dispersion means you will likely miss. If you get it right then it hits hard at any range. Dont write it off anyway. Its good but takes some practice.

Also having now played it once since they changed the ASW, I can confrim its got 11km range so is the same as most other T10 BBs. Works fine.
