You don't really see clan chat messages disappear as no one really talks in them if they have a Discord server; the previous messages just reappear once you log back in

I believe the oldest messages start disappearing after a certain number of messages

Why you freakin out over msgs?
You can't delete them. They go away on their own after a while, but it takes a few days.
