From the German CV containers, you have a, however miniscule, chance of pulling out the german CV's from T4 up to T8, the higher the tier, the lower the drop chance.

I did all directives that are available up to now and only got the Rhein.
The people who also got the Weser and especially those who have the Parseval should consider themselves lucky.

I hope that they'll bring more missions so we got better chances to atleast get the Weser.

They've brought out, to my knowledge, two different chains of combat missions so far to let you get extra containers. Unfortunately, they're only available on the weekends (the most recent one having just expired with the most recent daily server reset); fortunately, their requirements aren't anything difficult (increasing amounts of base XP over any number of battles, starting at around 3000 and ending around 8000). I wouldn't be surprised to see a third and final weekend mission chain this weekend as well.

i got weser but i dont care about her, i just want the 600 german carrier dubloons to get a hindenburg camo

edit: i think its not possible to aqquire 600 german carier dubloons without buying new directive for 7500 dubloons, or buying graf zepplin for normal directives

I'd say you've already had good luck then. I've also done everything possible so far to get containers, and all I have is Rhein.

Parseval would be nice, but I just want something above T5 so I can still be completing tasks while I play. A T4 ship is just about worthless to me, hence why my port starts at T5. Add to that all the issues of T4 CV play, and I'm not really interested in playing any more than the few rounds I've already done in Rhein.

I haven't even considered the 600 tokens. I've got about 400 so far, I'd agree it doesn't look like you can get it without buying more missions.

Well if WG aims to bring people like me to spend real cash for a chance (!) to get a ship in Early Access that will be in the tech tree anyway, they're mistaken.

I view getting even the Rhein only as a headstart, because I don't have to play a Tier 3 or Tier 4 DD again to farm EXP for it and don't need to grind through the improvements of the Rhein.
And I already have that special camo with it, so it may get a lasting place even after I researched the Weser, if I ever get so fed up by MM that I go down to Tier 4 to do some seal clubbing, if I'm not in the mood to play another game alltogether.

Of cause getting the german markers would be nice for the special camo for one of the Tier 10 ships, but since my highest german tech tree ships are all tier 6, DD short before reaching tier 7, I don't feel the urgent need to spend cash for that either, my first priority will be getting my american ships all to tier 10 (already got the Midway, so CV's are done).

WG just got a huge sum of cash from me for buying the premium camo for midway and finishing the Shipyard to get the Odin, enough is enough.

well,, if you wanna get the german perma camo you gotta pay both ways, either by buying a directive to win 600tokens, or by buying graf zepplin to finish the free directive + buying crates for parseval

Man, I really don't wanna have to grind out the Weser by playing T4 CV. That ♥♥♥♥ would be a serious bummer.

lol Yeah, I'd say you've paid your fees for the month. I actually just got the Midway myself, a couple days ago, after a long grind to get my first T10 CV. I want the camo really bad, but that's a lotta ♥♥♥♥♥♥ money for one in-game item.

What's the difference between Parseval and Graf Zeppelin? Anybody know?

Well, yeah dude. I know that much. Zeppelin is prolly the ship I want most(and has been for the entire time I've been playing,) but I can't get over that sticker price.

I was referring to their stat differences. They always differentiate the Tech Tree ships from their Premium siblings, sometimes in very small ways. I don't know what the statistical differences are between Zeppelin and Parseval.

Graf is a "traditional" Carrier with HE Rockets, good torps and a strong secondary arrangement.
Furthermore her Bombs drop in a really tight circle.

Parseval follows the german Line doctrine of AP Rockets, fast but low damage torps to hunt DDs and the AP Bombs can deal more damage, but their dispersion circle is much bigger.
Also her AA/ secondary is good, but not on Graf Zep level.

I have managed to get most of the German directives done bar the Parceval CV drop and the mission just before that. I calculated that without the Parceval I would be 15 German tokens short of getting a T10 600 token camo. To do all these mission and be so close yet so far away is very disappointing. It appears that for those that are unlucky enough to get all 3 CV's drop, you're forced to buy and spend dubloons to get the remaining tokens. WG could have been more considerate imo in allowing people to get one camo even if they failed to get the CV's. It strikes me that as time goes on, WG are more focused on a cash grab to get as much money as possible. Just look at the latest Azur Lane offerings which is really expensive.

I have spent quite a lot of money up to now on this game but recently it feels like WG are taking the Mick, exploiting their gamers.

This.
Azur Lane was always expensive as ♥♥♥♥ with 1 free Commander (Nelson) and one from the collection (Azuma).

Back in the first cooperation you could buy them individually iirc, which was the best way for people who only wanted specific characters.
Which is obviously not making money for WG because people would only buy the few they actually want.
Now you can only get them guaranteed in a box that includes things like Camos etc. to artificially increase the price.

Its honestly above satire that a mobile Gacha Game like Azure Lane has much more customer friendly monetisation than a Game like WoWs.

I would imagine that this particular case is something of a 'Supply and Demand' inflation. People eat up all the anime ♥♥♥♥ around here, so I'd imagine WG made a killing off the Azur Lane collab. If tons of people are buying it, that allows WG to up the price. If enough people are buying it that WG thinks it's becoming too 'common,' then they definitely will up the price.

I've gotten all but the t8 one (But you need them all to do the quests to get the all the tokens)
