Trying to use "old accout" of World of Warships

I had to reinstall the game programs, and now I don't have access to my original World of Warships account...
Anybody knows how to do it?
when I tried to do it, gave me a new level 1 account :0 ... I don't want that !!

You most likely have been given a new account on a different region from where your original account was. You will need to change your preferences in the game file to the correct server region and your old account should still be there and accessible.

Same problem, except region isn't the problem. It's as if a new WOWS account was created for me via steam. I was never asked to 'log in' when WOWs started. This is a common problem but there doesn't seem to be a resolution

Steam installation of WoWS launches directly into the game logged in as the associated Steam account.

You can import your Steam installation of WoWS into WGC (all games tab), check-and-repair the installation in WGC, and it'll overwrite the Steam installation so you can access your WGC account via a Steam installation.

But you can't access Steam storefront or achievements (because they'd go to the Steam account, not the WGC one, obv).

Or, alternatively, you can delete /rename the WGCS exe in your WoWS steam installation folder, and copy-and-rename the identically sized WGC exe file in the same folder to replace that WGCS exe - that'll let you login normally instead of autologging on via Steam.

Your in for a ride now: I have been playing with WOW for 4 years till my PlayStation died. I could not gain access to my account to put in a ticket. Well while i waited for 5 month for a PlayStation 5 . I played wow on my Steam account. Mistake, Mistake, I could not play with my old account still and would only let me Rename my account and email , phone before I could play on Steam. Not knowing it did not work properly I been playing both PS5 and Stream with the new name till I tried to log into wargaming.net for a ticket or and event. I found out I had no access at all for ether. It has taken me 4 months with war gaming net to delete the old account. Now i am waiting 45 days till completion of that. I do not know yet if I will loose all my ships and goodies from the PS account. This sickens me because There lies an investment. Wargaming.net ticket persons are not very helpful in their information shared on how to correct issues. They liked to tell my I was doing things wrong for 4 months till I screen shot every step of their directions and sent it back to them twice. I hope you fare better than me. Like you, it is not over yet. Oh, yeh they finally admitted both accounts are somewhat screwed up. 45 day now till I find out.

Played on the PlayStation? That would have been World of Warships: Legends. That is not even the same game.

And there's nothing keeping you from having accounts in both games. The only problem may be that you can't cleanly link both to the same WG account, not sure how that works (or doesn't). But all it would take to get around that is one alternate email-adress that you can get anywhere on the net for free. Likely even from the email-service you're already using.

that the weird thing i dit the same problem as i maybe put my self on a wrong server i deleted the file but world of warships still brings me to the EU one when i want to go to the NA one as i think that where all my payed ships are

Someone who actually uses Steam to play WoWs might be able to double check this is still how this works for us but previously you would need to find the "preferences.xml" file in the game folder and then modify the realm entry to "<currentRealm>na</currentRealm>".

i have try that actualy too but it still logs me in back to EU servers but i use to play it on steam but installed it for some months dit not suspected it to ask servers again and now i guess i stuck on wrong server

The WGC app sais no game is found.
I point it towards the correct folder, still it sais no game found.
Any details on how to fix that ?

Cut and paste a WGC installation of the game over the top of the Steam folder, then point WGC at that Steam folder to import it would be my guess.
