Can't find the option to buy 3 in one go, that would allow me to pay in installments on Paypal. Is that available either ingame or the web shop?

I grabbed a 20x bundle of mega crates, followed up by another 20x bundle in a separate transaction in order to grab the ships I was missing from the drop list.

I got round that by stocking up my steam wallet but had a lousy drop form 60 containers ... 5 ships Tier VIII or lower ... none really good. Was hoping for eg Belfast or another legenday ...

How many ships total?

Rares have a very low chance to drop unless you have all other ships.

As far as I can tell it is indeed not possible to buy several of the bundles at once. You'll have to get them piecemeal, I'm afraid.

If someone was like "oh i'm gonna spend a lot of money!" and then bought 10 bundles of 20 boxes... then regretted it, they'd be able to contact support and say "I uh accidentally bought all these boxes. I meant to buy one set, not 10. And support would have to deal with it. They could make the person happy - and they might. But it's still a hassle for them. Or they may be unable to refund, for example of the player has played any ships, and then the person is angry with support.

Best to just limit it to reasonable amounts.

I have got a refund before, but you're right, generally they don't, even if you don't open the boxes.

That wasn't the point though. The point was that they will have to deal with more customer service inquiries (and then possibly have to upset customers) by allowing certain things that aren't necessary.

And the quality is up for debate of course. Not all will like them. If you're going to buy boxes of any kind, they are the best however.
