I went into playing this thing with low expectations, but, turns out, I warmed up to her fast! I think I actually prefer her over the Nuernberg.

What makes her work well in ops (where bot paths are often fixed and predictable) is her torpedoes. 10 km range and under 1 min reload with 6 torpedoes per side. Only downside being those torps being only 59 knots stock, but they work fine.

Yes, which I understand honestly. The turret layout is weird but it works really well for my playstyle. It's the same reason I liked the Roon.

Compared to Nuernberg, Leizpig has:

- Slightly slower torpedo speed
- Lower main battery reload speed.
- Slower turret traverse
- 800 less HP

+ 10 km torp range
+ Hydro and DFAA available at the same time
+ Much better concealment (can stealth-torp)

Yeah sounds horrible but it weirdly works, at least for me. All about those torpedoes and not having to choose between hydro and DFAA. I *could* see minor buffs needed, mainly the turret speed, but I think she's fine as is.

I like Nürnberg just fine, but not Leipzig, it sacrifices too much for longer range torpedos, you have worse range with the Main Battery, worse reload, worse turret rotation. Leipzig is a hard pass for me.
