Don't buy doubloons just now, Steam wallet funds might be enough depending on what you want.
For the POI~!
Steam had the go-ahead to have some of their own exclusive deals that the the players who use the "regular PC Launcher" version of Warships,
don't have access to.
Thru Steam, I was able to buy DLC packs (on sale) of the WH40K commanders that weren't offered in the Warships official store.
I got a Prinz Eugen female commander from the Azur Lane collab here at Steam (so I was able to use the regular in-game offer to get another different commander),
as well as a bunch of expendable AL camos....
There was a small but free Transformers bonus thing once or twice (shows in my DLC list),
So there is the off-chance that we might see some Steam-specific items you won't find in the Warships official store.
Won't surprise me at all, if the game has a sequential bundle that has something related to holo live,
and yes, the gamble containers are almost 110% guaranteed to make an appearance somehow related to the event.
There could be a chance to get one of the six from a mission chain or collection, since that's certainly been done in the past with other collabs, but in general, you should expect each commander to cost around 10 USD a piece, with the possibility of a bundle that costs a little less than buying each one individually (assuming they don't throw in a bunch of consumables to jack up the price of the bundle).
Because reasons (timing of that collaboration), I coughed up the funds for several in my clan to get the AL Montpelier with the discount coupon... I want to think it was 30, or was it 35%?
Then as we get the tech tree Cleveland, that's the ship Ms Montpelier can swap back and forth between.
Not familiar with this Holo Live thing... but the possibility of matching ships for the commanders, maybe should NOT be ruled out...?
Wouldn't be surprised at all if that's going to happen, these days it seems to be one random bundle sale after another.
