Reporting and karma system in this game is a joke. I agree that people who ruin the game should be reported but not because small baby hates you sinking there ship !!

Have had several of matches where some players the first they say in chat is -1 subs, just why?
My self almost all the time lose Karma when playing Sub or CV, but it do happen that I also get Karma when playing those ship types

Most subs have 0 karma anyway so it's wasted. Best to use WoWS Monitor or something so you can see if people have karma before wasting your reports. No matter how bad they are, unless you report them for misbehavior in chat, and they really DID misbehave in a way the software sees, it's a wasted report. You can also easily see the better non-toxic players because they'll have a lot of karma.

I play both, although not very much in subs since I really dont find them enjoyable and I dont feel they bring anything positive to the game. I play CV a fair amount however and get +1'd a lot more than -1'd. Certainly lost something like 200 karma when I was playing test subs (Brit ones before release and more recently the Russian ones) which is why my karma total is only in the 1500's now. Its still plenty to play with and a nice buffer against people who wish to report out of spite.

If you click your in game name in port (top left of screen) your karma total will be shown just above it.

Mouse over your name in port. There's a little number next to it. That's your karma. It's pretty meaningless and does nothing for or against you. The only difference it makes is if you get above a certain amount (somewhere between 10 and 20 I think) you get a few extra compliments/reports per day.
