For T6 I'd say the West Virginia '41 is a very strong BB because of having the overmatch provided by 406 guns. She's very slow though.
Repulse, Warspite (if you can manage the slow turrets), WV and Mutsu (big guns). All premium.
Cruisers:
Leander and the premium versions (Mysore and Perth), each with different flavours.
Molotov (gives you tier 9 guns at tier 6, immense fun but can’t take a hit)
Nurnberg (damage doing machine in co-op)
Destroyers:
Japanese destroyers for torpedo work (I prefer Fubuki)
French tech tree for shooting things at speed (Guepard?)
German Gaede if you want a versatile, safe bet with the powerful hydroacoustic and workable torps. Maybe don’t upgrade the guns though - the 150mm can be devastating but also limiting.
Fubuki is a very good torpedo DD. And the Monaghan can be a nasty surprise to some who expect typical low to mid tier short range torpedoes on a USN ship.
Kirov is a cruiser at tier V that I would mention as well. Those guns are very potent. Dallas at tier VI is a ship I also very much enjoyed.
