Monitor choices whats the best for this game. 24" to 32" whats the best size. And draw backs
Been playing with a 21" monitor for years , now I bought a ViewSonic elite 32" quantum dot paid 700 for this monitor, let me say this playing this game Is 10% better to kill with, enemy ships are dam near three inches long at 24km. Enemy ships coming towards you at 23 km are at least 3/4 wide for better aiming. My ship In port is 25.50 inches long . One of the cool things It to see the actual shells hits done to parts of the ship and see where you hit ship and see the holes you make very easy to see, and when ships are not moving or going slow easier to aim at................... Ok now for the bad news, Its a little harder to hit leading a ship compared to a smaller screen ,because now you leading a ship by at least 10 to 12 inches off aim point where my 21" was only five to seven inches, you have to move your head more and your mouse to aim Is a little harder to lead on a ship not a game breaker but you have been warned. I recommend a screen no larger than a 27" to 28" for this game faster aiming, less head turning, easier to aim or lead at distance. That's my say on this, i wish I had gone for a 27" or 28"................when 4ks come down In cost and get a high refresh rate like i have now at 165 hz I will get one.

I'll be honest here:

Unless when I'm away and using my laptop instead (a Thinkpad X1), I'm actually playing over a beamer onto an actual screen. Me any my bro originally got that as part of a home cinema system. But it goes real well with gaming.

If I had the money I'd get a Samsung 49" ultra wide. Currently I play on three 27" screens set to 5780x1080 res. Very nice for lots of battlefield peripheral vision.

Not too much really :) More eye sliding! You still find yourself looking at the center screen most of the time. When things come into the sides it does catch your vision though and it allows me to have my minimap at max size without being in my main view. Also chat is way left so not at all distracting unless I want to look at it.

I used 24"s and upgraded to 27"s, they are a nice change, and when I bought these they were under $250 each (ASUS).

One thing I have noticed If your a cv player Its easier to aim with a larger monitor , everything Is easier to aim with skip bombs ,rockets you name It ,It does better with a large monitor...........bbs and crs I would go on size smaller than a 32" leading a target on a huge screen Is harder and to be on target.

Not to mention easier reading of the minimap. Essential for anyone trying to be successful, but probably even more so for a CV player.

I picked up 2 27" acer monitors (not at the same time), they're decent sized for a desk though I'd want something bigger if I was sat further back on a console or using one for movies.

27" seems to be on offer more than others, at least here in the UK...picked up both for new at something like 40% off

27" monitor Is a good choice ,I wish I had one to compare against a 32" monitor with battle ships in game. My next monitor will be 4K monitor Oled but the hertz are still kind of low just a few at 144 hertz ,not enough of them available and at a good price yet. I would say at least a year out till they have monitors at 175 to 200 hertz at 1mil refresh rate....TVs are three times bigger for the price. Were still being over charged for monitors to the high end monitors........

I will say this I really enjoy playing with a 32" Q dot monitor 175 hertz not 4k. Game looks amazing I don't know If I could ever get a smaller monitor now, but I play bbs mostly I just got to know If a 27" is truly better for aiming across the map like 23 to 27km head and arm movement are longer while playing , the tracers of light from the secondaries on ships are awsome looking. And the ships are so big you can see shells hit parts of ship and know where your hitting from a ways off. Well I have at least a year to wait or when prices go down. Monitors are over priced for computers but I can see It changing 4k qled Is the new normal huge oled or qled tvs are getting cheaper by the day costco has so many right now at a good price . ...I can't wait for monitors to catch up and come down In price and 4k oled are every where to buy...

The important thing is a dynamic crosshair and max size minimap to line up the reticle on. I hit a Marceau at 23km with Montana like that yesterday.
