Is there anyway to logout?

I want to use my old wargaming account, but the other day I "accidentally" made a new account for World of Tanks Blitz in steam and it stucks here, how to logout?

You cannot use your WG account in WoWS, no one knows why we can't and the devs are giving us vague answers to this issue. As far as everyone knows, its pretty much a waste of time to play right now since we will have to create a new account for the game when using the Steam client.

Only alternative is to uninstall the game and re-install the WG client and download the game from there, which in my opinion, defeats the purpose of even releasing the game to steam if we can't even login to our original accounts.

The Wargaming.net client is the main client for all wargaming games. They just relesed WoWS to Steam but failed to realize that players want to continue to use their old accounts for the game which is causing major problems. Which is also making the game look like there are millions of players that have signed up for the game but its just the same players creating new accounts on the Steam Client.

You cannot play WoWS with existing account, that's true - a new one is created automatically.
To continue playing via Steam in World of Tanks Blitz with all progress kept please disconnect from server in WoTB then and use Wargaming.net credentials to log in. Sorry for inconvenience caused.

Can you guys at least make it clear in a FULL statement of why you wont try and allow players to log-in with an existing account. The vague answer given in the FAQ does not explain anything making it look like that you do not care about the existing players or why its not possible. Given the massive response from the steam community about this issue and no word about it is showing a huge decrease of moral among the players.

I just quit the game over this. More like never started. Found the game because of Extra Credits on youtube. I tried to get the invite code working only to find out its impossible. Haha, ok whatever buddy, I guess I just wont play your game then. Why in gods name are you making people make a new account?! This is bizarre programming to say the least.

Because WG and Steam are seen as two different platforms.

Not quite sure of your point here. If you have an account already the chances are the invite code won't work as they are for new accounts which is explained by the 'invite' part. If you don't have an account you can decide which platform to use it on, either Steam or WG. The only difference it makes is where you buy goods, through Steam wallet or direct through WG. If it's a new account, the invite code should still work, unless the Youtube video was as old as this thread you resurrected.

As ThrottleFox has said, you can use Steam to launch your WG account, you just can't use Steam wallet.
