What is the deal with some of the ships on my team having purple Icons on the map?

If a player commits enough team damage in a battle (like accidental torpedoing of friendlies), they will be punished until they have earned enough experience in matches. The teamkill status is denoted with the colored icon. Once they are purple/pink, any damage done to allies is reflected back at them.

Of note, don't shoot purple players. It will count as team damage the same as if you shoot a normal allied player.

Ohh thanks, I also encountered those purple icons. I thought it's our ACE player LOL!!!!
