We literally just got the battleships, give it some time. For now we got German DD split and Dutch tech tree with cruisers coming.

Did Italy even HAVE a Marine air force? cant say iv ever heard of Italian carrier but they where probably half built in drydock before they surrendered. Like Italy wanted to recreate ROME'S empire, which means the entire Mediterranean, did they really need a carrier force? i don't think so.

I think we'll see French before either of those... Have to see though.

I think its funny that the German Carriers are getting so much love when it comes to the quantity that is released/yet to release when they arguably only had 1 built during the entire war. But then again, it's also not that surprising when looking at the Russian Tech tree.

So far I've counted 7 German CVs vs UK's 6 and Japan's 5.

I count 6 German CV's. I don't think we should count Immelmann myself. It's not been released and more importantly, until WG says otherwise, it seems to just be a copy of MVR to test the skip bombing mechanic.

The German love ended when all their AP ordinance got nerfed!

The fact that they're even considering to give the line another premium CV is what I'm complaining about. Especially when a carrier heavy faction like the Japanese only have one....

Yea, I kinda agree Japan needs more.

I think it's too early to jump to the conclusion that they're making another German premium. I don't know of Germans using skip bombing at all. It was the United States that primarily used it and pioneered it and the British who invented it. If they do give skip bombing as a special gimmick to Germany instead of the United States (or Britain) I'll be... really really bothered. Kinda like how they re-imagined Alaska and named it Congress in total defiance of USN naming conventions... and that's only where my complaints start. But I digress...

They actually did build one but thought of two
Italian aircraft carrier Aquila < attempted conversion from a liner named Roma
Italian aircraft carrier Sparviero
Both were supposed to be conversions
Originally they were going to after a raid on Taranto. But they figured that they were too expensive and had too many problems figuring out catapults and gears for other things.
There was also some islands they considered "Natural aircraft carriers"

France had enough ideas to make a tree.
it apparently was somewhat of a debate where some wanted CV and others didn't
Béarn< was built
The Béarn was to be followed by the first dedicated French flat-tops, the two Joffre. < Never finished and was scrapped
Also in service was the Commander Teste. She was a “seaplane carrier”, quite capable of operating torpedo bombers and reconnaissance seaplanes for the fleet, including the fast Laté 298 torpedo floatplane. < probably more of a hybrid
I think there was talk about making Jean Bart an aircraft carrier.

Welp, news just arrived that the CV is releasing in the upcoming patch through coal.

Since Immelman can be purchased for coal how many newbie CV players will we see whose first CV is at Tier X? If the skip bombs are somewhat OP maybe their incompetence will help balance it out :D
