Ranked sprint also started out as being made for new players. Anyways if you don't like t6, don't play it. I'm sure the newer players are enjoying it, so I think it's a good thing.
Edit: I, too, Also got really annoyed doing it last night. But it is likely nice for the people who like teir 6-7
Oh and I was able to regrind two of the IJn gun DDs so that was worth it. I love Atlanta so it still kinda works for me
Whenever I lose it is not because I do not enough damage, or go risky, or play too passive.
- DD's go risky as hell, attacking other dds or cruisers, instead of capping, scouting or focusing on BBS/CVs
- BBs love to move into waters with an undetected, unseen, unheard dd around, getting then surprise torpedo-ed.
- Cruisers rather battle BBs instead of hunting down dds, capping or scouting
- CVs love to to send their planes in a group of ships, where they get shot down in a minute, not able to make any damage.
And above all of that, is the greedyness. Perfect tactical playing - I command them to go for A and C, miss B. We got the advantage - points at 700, 8 mins left.
5 of us left: 2 BBs, 1 Cruiser, 2 DDs vs 3 of them: 2 DDs 1 BBS
We can't see the enemy, they go slow and sneaky, trying to surprise us.
I tell them to retreat, DO NOT GO IN, DO NOT SEARCH, DO NOT TRY TO KILL, DO NOT BE GREEDY.
But well, who am I to tell them what to do? My tactical plan had worked out perfectly before, why should it now keep working, right?
SO LETS GO IN AND DIE, surprised by a row of torps comming from each side!
We lose advantage, enemy starts capping, at the end I am the sole survivor against 2 DDs and 1 BBs, losing in the last 2 minutes.
Thank you, teammates, for losing an other great opportunity (and (Rank) for just being stupid greedy.
Such behavior makes it really so damn hard to stay civil and not insult those players.
I mean yeah it is (JUST A GAME :( :( :( ), but in reality? Dude if I was their commanding officer, we'd have 4 executions today.
It is just frustrating, to see a certain victory being thrown away, so many times, rising 1 rank up only to lose it again in the same row.
Nelson, Cara (Forget whole name, but Italian T7), Colorado, Scharnhorst...
Fiji, Helena, Lazo, there's less good cruisers.
Haida, Z39, Shiratsuyu... and those are just off the top of my head.
Tier 6 on the other hand... eh.
I don't think Lazo is very good in ranked though.
But it’s tier 7, so don’t forget the Japanese cruiser. Myōkō, Destroyer of Worlds, she who can defy physics, and make the seven seas themselves burn like oil.
I don't think Gneisenau is very good. I kill them all the time and it has only 6 guns. Provided you don't get into torpedo range that is... I didn't have good experiences in Hyuga either, but didn't give it much of a chance. I was really hoping it'd be good - but when you have Nelson or Sinop... eh... I didn't really expect Cara to be good, but wow... I leveled the whole ship up in ranked. Very good.
them WG changed to low tier and still complain
GG players never changes
