Purchase problems.

Hi all, I bought the premium Alabama last month with no problems. I purchased 12500 doubloons for 50 bucks and used a 25 percent off coupon.

NOW I cannot buy anything. I added funds to my steam wallet and still no luck.

I can't buy anything on wargaming.net as it does not transfer to steam, and I am not starting over. Any ideas? Support said make sure steam overlay is on. It is. They also said wait for a few minutes, I have.

You don't need to start over to buy on Wargaming's website, you only need to link your account.

As far as using Steam funds, make sure the Steam overlay is working - I've heard if that's off or not working you'll have problems.

I'm actually having the some problem that just began to happen. I did check in settings and overlay box is checked. Never had the problem before. Do get the Steam pop up box to check to authorized, but icon just sits there for ever. Any other thoughts on this?

Never got Steam -- WG to work with purchasing. I go directly to Wows WG site and buy there. Next time I start Wows, the thing I paid for is there. Steam is a middle layer to WG, so expect problems of this kind.

Be sure the shift+ tab turns overlay on in game...... I had it checked marked but shift + tab didnt work... i did some tweaking..... uninstalled it reinstalled.... verify game cache first tho..... when shift + tab started working... i was able to buy through staem

here is my converstion with support that got overlay working.... so check your anti virus before uninstall install move

I'm sorry that you are having this purchasing issue. We advise waiting a while and trying your purchase again.

When you attempt your purchase again, I recommend allowing at least one minute for each step during the process. Please do not close the transaction windows until you've received an email confirmation of the purchase.

Please note: The Steam Overlay must be functioning correctly for in-game purchasing to work (you can test the functionality of the overlay by using shift+tab in-game).

If you continue experiencing problems, please let us know. Be sure to attach screenshots of any errors you're receiving.

I have Steam overlay on but it will not activate with shift-tab. This is the only game that doesn't seem to work with that.

Our records indicate you have been able to add funds to your account, but it sounds like you're having an issue with the Steam overlay.

When the overlay isn't working properly, certain features like purchasing, adding friends, accepting party invites, and other things may also not work. Before proceeding, please make sure the Steam Overlay is enabled. To do this:

Open Steam > Click 'Steam' in the upper-left > Settings > In-Game > Check the box for 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game' > OK

Overlay issues are typically caused by third-party software preventing the overlay from activating or incorrect settings in Steam. A good first step is to disable any antivirus or other overlay/gaming on-screen display software you may be running and re-test the issue. Unfortunately, because overlay issues are machine specific it's hard for us to provide direct support.

We recommend trying the fixes in our Steam Overlay article if you continue to have issues.
