You can log into the same account using WGC game client (unfortunately you'll have to download it from scratch, there's no easy way to reuse Steam client files). To log in either use email and password (if you've completed your account) or choose log in "with social media account" and choose Steam (blue icon on the very right side).
Oh, and also make sure that correct game region is selected when adding account. I'll add a screenshot in a minute.
Good Luck!
Three steps:
All it took was downloading the WarGaming Client app, click Log In from the left panel, as you showed, then I clicked Import Game and just dragged the WoWS desktop icon and dropped it on the pop up window.
Sorry, i don't fully understand — do you mean that you were able somehow import Steam WoWS client? Or what did you import? Where does that desktop icon lead to?
Just want to verify that i'm not missing any new info :)
So it can be imported somehow? I tried specifying the game folder to WGC but to no avail. Not sure how the shortcut drop worked, or if it really did work with WGC and Steam wasn't back on its feet by then tbh. WGC does not detect the game folder as it is. Any idea how to make it do so without having to download a whole new 60 GB installation? Just in case for the future.
