how to transfer to non steam wows folder without re-downloading

Title. Basically... I had uninstalled the game a long time ago, but got the itch to play again. Saw it was on Steam and downloaded, only to find that I could not use my original account with Steam. Instead of re-downloading all the files through the WG launcher, how can I copy them over so that the WG launcher can detect them? The file structure seems different for some reason.

Or you can just use workaround for WG accounts to get the most Steam features

Fiddling with files is cumbersome, not only because of different folder structue, but also because main data files are different, because they need to support two client versions at the same time. So it wouldn't save you much anyway.

same issue didnt know that till i downloaded , and no way now to use any trick to use our old accounts so i will have to re-downloaded again
