Dear twonk-bullies, I'm glad I could say something wrong for you to gleefully cling to and ignore everything else I suggested- you know, "suggested" the word I used to show it was my opinion. Even if that opinion is wrong, your initial response was ... 'immature' as one of you put it.
Our society is so quick to correct eachother, everyone has to be right. What about being understood, or the maturity of communicating?
Asshat was meant for your attitudes, but twonk is actually not an insult. It's become a gentleman's way of showing dissaproval. Try Lindybeige on YouTube for a popular example.

T6 is ok, but there are not very many good T6 options to purchase right now, aside from Graf Spee and the Molotov. De Grasse is decent, but to me seems lacking in completeness.
For BB T6, Dunkerque is the way to go if you want a leg up on French BB line.
great sale for dunker going on right now in fact.
Edit: wrong link;fixed https://na.wargaming.net/shop/wows/specials/5647/
Perth and Duca d'Aosta just don't currently support a full nation line, and might never, so don't buy those if you want a captain trainer.
TLDR: Do not go tier VI (6) if you want USA or IJN Premium. Go Tier VIII (8), or if you like DD play, go with the Sims at Tier VII (7)!
Great Armor.
Ok AA.
Awesome Secondaries that actually scare DD,s and Cruisers. Specially is you spec them.
Average guns.
Average Speed.
TORPS. Yep, she got torps, and when you in a close up duel with another ship, those torps pretty much give you the edge.

There. All problems solved. Now hopefully people will let this thread die.
Stop.
First of all, don't buy premium ships of a class and or nation and higher tier you have no experience at. You will suffer, your team will suffer, everyone will suffer.
Imho if it's your first premium buy a premium of a nation and class that you will play regardless so that you already have experience playing it and can train your captain on it since you can put same nation captains on premiums without retraining.
If your highest tier is 7 and you play german cruisers you may like the Scharnhorst, it's a BB that plays more like a (battle)cruiser than BB.
Alabama >>>> Kii if you chose to go that way.
One of the best balanced and fun ships in the game with great matchmaking.
Would not recommend getting either, the best and most fun German Premium is the Scharnhorst and it will even work if you want to train German Cruiser Captains.
If you are not sure what to get i recommend checking the offical wiki - with links to all LWM-reviews. The only person really knowing what you like is YOU. You might have to spend some time finding out what fits you best.
PS: Basically the best Premium out there to get while it's still available is probably getting enough Doubloons to convert enough free XP to get the Missouri before it gets removed.
She can be devastating, but only if played right, but you could be more devastating in a different ship.
dont buy a tier 8 prem ship at this moment . the tier 8 matchmaking is so bad you are 55 % low tier in every match. ( i have count it by my own and i still counting :) 10 match 7 times low tier with tier 8 )
Because the OP was asking about American and ♥♥♥.
