How does "naval battle" stars work?
On this week of "How it works".. Oh well, I dunno, ooh how I miss Discovery Channel's informative programming, how it used to be anyway. Oh, right, I had a question, the stars shown on the picture, it is in naval battle in clans, I have looked around the game's FAQ and such, still no answers about what those stars even represent and how a players involvement/performance by partaking at all.

you need to play that nation and type of class
each player have maximum up to 10 times to do (lose, lower xp,co-op are counted)
you have to play and do more than base xp that they are marked
first reward is OIL
second reward N/A

So for me go "get a star"/contribute, and say go with British battleship class, I need in this case get above 900xp in a round?

You need to be the first in your clan with NB active to cross that threshold to gain a point. And every time it's crossed, it gets higher.

Yeah, in short: play a ship of that class and nation in any mode while getting more baseXP than you see in the table → get a star.

Well, that answers my question in full, Thank you both for clearing that up for me.

Hi,

doing some thread necromancy here because the thread's topic fits just too well to my question:
Has it any negative effect if I fail in an attempt to earn a star? Can my clan mates just enable "count attempts" and no matter how good or bad they play, it will always either add to the rating but never lower the rating?

Correct. The only negative for failing to meet the milestone is that you've still used up one of your attempts.
