Autopilot bug?
I use autopilot when playing CV. I usually select a few point on the minimap and I see a white line from my ship going to the point I want. I noticed that sometimes autopilot just switches off and ship stop halfway for no reason. This happens quite often.
Have you got any problems with autopilot too or am I doing something wrong?

Any rudder buttons, while you're not controlling planes.

Sounds weird then. If you still can't figure it out — might try asking Support. Not sure, maybe any extra connected control devices can mess this up, maybe not, i don't have any connected.
BTW, I haven't encountered this issue since the last update released.
I got xbox one gamepad connected via wireless bluetooth adapter, but I don't think that this thing could be a problem.

Usually it stops and station at the last marker after your CV have reached its marked destination, so I recommend you keep and eye on your map and know where your moving.

The thing is that it stops before last marker.

Then its either you touched one of the movement keys before your planes took off. Happens to me using CV so I constantly check my markers after launch or mid flight to my target.

Yeah, have you turned the rudder yourself?

Manually changing course wouldn't make the ship stop though, it would just continue to edge of map

Hmm, right, the speed should not change even when map point gets removed unless it's actual autopilot stop.

@OP, "halfway" means how far away? CVs have awful rudders and turn radius, so they might be forced to stop somewhere near since reaching closer would be tricky.

The ship stops at any point, randomly.

You can't turn it off for CV. Autopilot is the only way to drive it with planes in the air.

Are you holding down Shift as you set your waypoints?

Ok, maybe it was a bug after all.
