how can i use the invitation code?
i cant find any place i can paste the code on it

If it's an invite-code — it can be used only for native client because it needs to be put in during the account creation on website.

But if it's a bonus-code: login to https://wargaming.net/shop/redeem/

thank you for your reply. however it seems that the codes cant be used if i create an account on steam.

Correct, there's no such step for account creation on Steam, so invite-codes are unavailable unfortunately.

But don't forget to use any referral link before you reach level 3.
