When is the azur lane collab event?

I'm not a big fan of Arpeggio of blue steel (mainly because I don't like 3D anime)

That said, the Belfast, Dunkerque, and Atago skins are pretty nice. I would gladly shell out cash for the Dunkerque and Atago ones on PC. The Dunkerque one could honestly use a little bit of darker shade with more a brass instead of a gold, but I'd still take it.

when was their a surge of azur lane peeps around here? i ain't complaining but jebus they came out the woodwork recently

Probably just some AL fans noticing the thumbnail for WoWs on Steam and being like, boat game + anime lady = Azur Lane or Kantai Collection, and only one of these can be reasonably expected to do a collab.

Probably also doesn't hurt that Siren vessels from AL look kind of like ARP ships due to the glowing bits.

I've been a regular around the WoWs Steam forums for a bit more than half a year or so though, since the last Azur Lane collab ran back in May. I think the previous one was roughly a year before that. A number of us have been playing WoWs since around then. That said, the recent surge in people asking about AL definitely started when the ARP collab stuff showed up on Steam.

Well they were not part of it. Of course that doesn't mean they would be in the future. At least you didn't miss out :)

Er, that sort of depends on what the OP meant actually. Belfast and Eugen were both commanders from the collab. Neither had ship skins (that I can remember). Prinz Eugen as a ship is always available in the premium shop, and Belfast is only available from supercontainers, santa crates, and special events that give you a chance at discontinued ships (like the charity event a little while ago).

The only AL specific ships in WoWs are Montpelier and Yukikaze, but honestly that seems pretty inconsequential, since they're literally just real ships. They definitely have the best looking camo out of the Azur Lane collab stuff though. That said, the camo for ships like Cleveland, Enterprise, and Nelson wasn't even available during the second event.

I'm kinda new to the game myself, but I watched a trailer on YouTube 2 days ago announcing some AL girls (both commanders and ship skins) said announcement included Belfast, HMS Hood, Tripitz just to name a few.
