Also swap the ram around in their slots?
Also sometimes a full dissassemble works. Unplug every cable that can be unplugged, remove every removable peice of hardware. clean thouroughly all the plugs and connections with proper circuit board cleaner, then reassemble, probably 80% of the time this has fixed a computer problem i had!
No problem, let us know the result?
I ran it for the WoWs gamecentre version which went A1 ok!
So I went to try and check Steams effort
The WGchecker apps tab - 'Add GAme' requires me to find Steams WoWs executable so it can run all those checks ...
But when I tried to get that Steams version.exe added I could not because it was not selectable - the clientrunner.exe was invisible through this WGCheckers app -even though I was looking right at it after browsing local files and singling it out
At STEAM personnel : I believe its all down to your version running only the x32 version of WoWs which all of a sudden has stopped working as reliably as before (something to do with running out of virtual memory)
Please help us WoWs players by providing this WGChecker or some way of getting a similar high standard of program filecheck so when ♥♥♥♥ happens -
that checker would be there to help us understand what is going wrong Where and why
it is not as if this critical exit/error has only hppened to me!
Please realise that - These freeze ups and critical errors get PENALTIES on my account for exiting battles I have to use task manager to release my PC from freezeups and by the time I reconnect I get the gmes automatic warning for "unsportsmanlike conduct"
So now I cannot now trust your version of WoWs to run without some freezeup during battles and critical exits So instead of any reliable or sufficient fix I now have to uninstall this game
BECAUSE THESE ERRORS/EXITS WILL GET MY ACCOUNT BANNED which puts an absolute block on my playing it !!
I considered doing that, but the process looked a bit 'iffy' and i thought the time and effort i put into my old account is too valuable to risk just for a few free containers on Steam.
I vacuumed inside the pc but I dont have any of that proper circuit board stuff - isopropyl alchohol? I have none of that atm and Maplins have gone tits up in Dublin a while back no where can I get it now well maybe a pharmacy
My computer is probably 6 years old, i have only had to do that thourough cleaning once in all that time, but simple vaccuming out happens probably every 6 months.
Isopropyl is good, Metho in a pinch. But why not just order some circuit board cleaner on Ebay?
Imagine? why would you need to imagine anything? you do know what the internet is for rite?
