When i hit f12 it takes a screenshot how do i disable it

You can also bind the "Thank you" response to another button in the game settings. I have it set to one of my mouse's side buttons.

I set it to F1(no need for Help button), and curses to F12.
I recommend using Ctrl+~ for Steam overlay hotkey and Pause for screenshots. Those are almost never ever used anywhere.
