WOWS MODS - How to get them on Steam Client?
Hi.

I am a new WOWS player and it has come to my notice that there are some rather useful mods for this game - tho it appears you have to be using the WG Client and not the Steam version.

Please shine some light on this as I would like to use mods via my steam account.
If this is not possible - is there a method for using my Steam created account to login via the WG Client. (so i dont loose my progress and ID)

It's possible as well: login to website, open account management, bind email and set password and now you can use that account both with Steam version and with standalone client.

You just need to install modpack to a folder with WorldOfWarships.exe, NOT in the game's root.
They all work for Steam version. Well, someone mentioned ports might not work, but who needs them anyway.

This one seems to be one of the most popular English-language modpack with lots of stuff: http://aslain.com/index.php?/topic/2020-0730-aslains-wows-modpack-installer-wpicture-preview/

I personally use this Russian modpack, it's more aimed towards things that actually help you than bells and whistles:

Website is in Russian, but installer has option for English with screenshots and descriptions.

Just don't download any mods that are not posted there, they might be hosted elsewhere, but there must be a topic about them on forums.
