Way to see chat log after battle?

Like it says on the tin. I was just cussed out by number of opponents because I wouldn't roll over and die as the last defender. I even closed to secondary range on my BB and dodged a guy's torpedos and someone is cussing up a storm because I fought to the last. I'd just be "meh" but the level of vulgarity should be reported since people like that ruin the game.

Problem is, the chat is gone after the battle is over and I was a bit too busy to see which people were being utterly profane and horrible sports.

Note- I don't mind swear words born out of frustration, but when people vent disgusting or racist vitriol at someone, the line should be drawn.

No way unfortunately.
Except maybe looking into game log files, but it's an overkill, hard to find anything there.
If you don't remember who it was - let's hope someone else reported them.

BTW next time make a screenshot! Not only that would allow you to look up who it was, but you can also send it to tech support as a proof and the penalty would be much more severe than if just reported.

A great idea. Luckily that ended in a few games and I've had some really nice groups, win or loss. I will do that indeed, should it happen again.

I mean, nearly two years late to give you an answer, but in the world of warships folder there's a replay folder. It saves files that link to replays of the last few battles. I don't think you can watch any, it's more a code for the devs so you can send a ticket with the file and they can decode it to watch (so it keeps file sizes very small to not clog your computer)

Yeah, I stopped playing a few years ago, not just because of the toxic community- but due to game changes and the forum moderator Ryuu publicly insulting me a number of times. Already have enough shade, and the only answer to anything is to "get gud." Seriously, look at forum posts and every last response to tactics and gameplay boils down to that.
