How to watch replays in the current version?

I have followed the steps in this guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1206475018

I have tried using the .exe's in the bin 1427460, 1491147 and clientrunner but I get stuck on the loading screen trying to syncronise.

Apologies for the delay in responding, I haven't been on my usual PC. I just tried the following and got it working:

Right click replay, 'Open with' then navigated to bin\1491147\bin64\WorldOfWarships64.exe

Let us know if this doesn't work.

I did this and every time i do i get an error message

The program is stuck on the "synchronising" loading screen.
Just to clearify should I be doing the other 2 steps of downloading the program and renaming the .api?

Why is this so hard? Its kinda more important than space ships and Haloween candy...
A complete step by step HERE or new thread with same title. I too am stuck at the synchronising page.

Im still waiting for some working instructions for replays. I have same issue as others. Using latest wow64 exe from bin 1491147 and stuck on synchronising. Im happy to rename and move files but just want to make sure the instructions are relevant to this current (1491147) version and not some other
