Playing from Australia: which region?

I'm interested in giving this game a go but can't find any official information on which region an English-speaking Australian account should join, and all the unofficial information I could find (that isn't emphasizing choosing the right region because changing is like pulling teeth) is years out of date. What do people recommend?

Probably NA. Sometimes players from europe play on NA and players from NA play on EU servers and it works out just fine, and NA should be the closed english speaking server to you.
The game isn't a fast one, so the ping you'll get shouldn't matter too much.

There also seems to be an Australian population on Asia as well, probably the best for you ping wise, probably not so much language wise unless you can get into an Australian clan. As Sidian said though, ping isn't too much of an issue in WoWs.
