Download/new install stuck at 99%

- it starts withe the last update, where the download never get beyond 99%.
- tried nall the steps steam told me (verify game data, repair libary usw) nothing worked
- deinstalled the game and now i can`t reinstall, cause the Installation stuck at 99%

Tried clearing download cache?

Add and PM me if you can't figure it out, Support would likely struggle with Steam-specific problems.

Any error messages btw?

yes those steps. I tried clearing download cache and i got no error messages. hmmm

Any disk errors? Enough free space?
Quite puzzling

There are some complaints lately, but in worst cases reinstall helped.

Try changing download server in Steam settings by the way, just in case.

a change of the dowload server was the first thing i tried, but it won`t work. a reinstall of WoW i tried 3 times and every time it donloads till it reaches 99% and there it stays. Better it jumps between downloading and not. Sorry, for the bad english

Well, you can try installing original standalone client from website. If you have linked email — you can use the same account there, but Steam wallet would be unavailable.

I'd suggest writing to Steam Support, maybe they know more. May contact WG Player Support as well, but i doubt they ever seen problems like that.

Maybe it's something with your network? Reboot PC, reboot router. Sometimes have to do voodoo when nothing else is helping :)


BTW your English is very good actually ;) I see a lot of native speakers around here and wish theirs were as "bad".
