Buy & Sell question [SOLVED]
I'm not new to World of Warships but I've never sold much of my ships or else I might end up in full regret for doing so.

I wanna know how World of Warships economics works.

I've bought ships from Japan and grinded up til Tier II. I sold them all and worked my way to the high ranks of the German ships to get the Admiral Hipper-class. Later updates gave me additional ports to store more ships and decided to go continue where I left in Japan.

A friend of mine told me that once you sell a ship from that tier, you can buy it once again without starting from Tier I starter ship. Although after I sold every Japanese ships I got, it won't let me buy my Tier II ship back and force to start to Tier I starter ships once again.

I need a confirmation of how things work or it may be because of server differences and functionality that the servers have different economics from one another because my friend is playing from a different server no wonder why the advice didn't worked.

Don't forget about RESEARCHING ships. You can buy any researched ship at any time, does not matter if you've bough it before or not. You can even skips ships if you have ton of Free XP.

Seems you're buying a ship of different class which you forgot to research before selling his ancestor. You can use free XP if you don't want to rebuy ancestor.

You forgot to fully quote my first sentence unless you're truly mocking me.

Too bad, I'm not a die hard pro-wargaming fan unlike you.

I main War Thunder and once navy gets released everyone will migrate to try it out. There's a huge chance I'll see you there and that's when we'll have an unexpected duel.

Hello OP,

In warships, once you have unlocked a ship on your tech tree, you can always sell it to buy it back later on, althought with a minor malus price talking in credits.

Premium ships are a different matter, if you sell them, you can't buy them back, you need to contact the support for help, they can offer you a one time exception to restore one of your premium ship, however, keep in mind they require the ship to be sold within the last 2 months to be eligible for restoration, this is probly because beyond this, they don't keep datas regarding the ship.

also keep in mind your account will have different datas regarding the area you play in, for instance if you play on EU servers, and grind a tier VII ship there, you won't have it on your NA datas.

if you need more informations, feel free to poke me or to contact the support, they will gladly answer your questions.

I think the premium buyback policy may vary depending on the server.
