Think Eu is the largest, but thats something your going to have to search the net for the true answer

I suggest choosing region according to your timezone and language.
If you choose wrong timezone - you would have hard time finding players when there's night in that timezone.
Language - self-explanatory.
Game is not too ping-dependent, and if you choose closest(by timezone) region it should be just fine.

So Asia for you. I chose it too, because my timezone UTC+7 is closest to their UTC+8 despite me being in Russia, and i can converse in English just fine(though not everyone can speak English on asian realm).

Why not make accont in all regions, or at least 2, depens on how much time you will invest in the game. All servers got their differents, And you get more friends from all over.

That's an overkill honestly :) free premium time would vanish in vain. I have two accounts, but just because i wanted to try to be a noob again and get Steam achievements.

No region has issues with low population, but there is still the regular population distribution throuhgout day with peak times, off-peak times and late night with noone awake anymore :) So as Ryuu wrote, it is better to select based on your language preference and timezone.

Especially russian clan players in Far East experience problems now because clan battles time is during deep night for them.

Why not make a Russian account? Pretty sure the mission are better there. ASIA used to get the short end of the stick along with EU before the globalization of missions.

Even in ASIA server with the lowest population, you would never get problems due to low population. MM is always populated. Except for those rare times in 3am to 6am utc+8, I once got a non-cv 4v4 match.

I have a russian account, clan battles happen from 23 to 02 local time so it's fine for me as "an owl" :hee:

Game content is the same or a bit worse/less, take a look in game wiki and compare how many flags can US or Asian player have collected compared to CIS.

Hmm, but that narrative doesn't agree with the Russian bias narrative. To the gulag for you.

They say every region envy other ones and feel they get less content :hee: So it's hard to say what picture is really true.

Don't worry mate. ASIA have fast queue time. Even with the relatively low population. You would rarely get a queue longer than a minute.

What i worry is not just player population but player level in some region too, in my last time i play WOT with level 1 tank in asia server it's very long to wait to battle, but when im reach tier or level 5 in tank it's very short to wait to go to battle..

Tier 1 has pretty long queue time for pvp. Just play in coop. Will take 3 games at most to unlock T2. T2 onward has a pretty fast queue.
