anyone knows how to update the steam version client of wows

the game says i cant enter the server cuz tthe client is out of date. help?

How could be possible tha the version got today is old? During the syncronization the message said contact the assistance your version is old...

Go to your Steam library, right click on World of Warships and select Properties, then go to Local Files tab and click on Verify.

As mentioned above, games on Steam automatically update.

To check the files against the new version, and to fix any missing files, go to your library on Steam, right click on World of Warships and select Properties, then go to Local Files tab and click Verify.

I also merged your thread with another who is having the same issue.

well i own a WG account, but i cant even go to port ...

You can't use your Wargaming.net account on the Steam version without changing the files, you will also need the WG client to make it work with the Steam version. Someone made a guide here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1200479870

But you won't get any achievements, etc, should you follow this guide.

Hopefully logging into the game from your Wargaming.net ID will work in the future with the default Steam client.

Yea i saw the vid on youtube, wanted to start fresh on steam. btw its still verifying.
