How can I "unlink" Accounts?

My Steam Account is already linked to Wargaming because of World of Tanks - Blitz. How do I unlink accounts so I can play World of Warships?

^ It's a bad method though, not without flaws. If you want to use old account you might as well stay with standalone client.

Are you asking how to use your Steam account for WoWS or Wargaming.net account? You can't use your Wargaming.net account VIA the Steam version of WoWS.

That doesn't actually seem to be true. I think I'm doing it? I log in with steam, and have all progress/ships that I had before.

I'm talking about the default client without modifying anything to make it work.

I'm going to ask the team about having the option to login with your Wargaming.net account and to be able to link Steam to it as well, but as I mentioned in another thread, you'll only be able to make a Steam account and link that to a new Wargaming.net account, not an existing one, but you can login separately with just the Wargaming.net account.

hello. i have a problem as well to do with linking. basically i have a world of warship account on steam then i added google as a link and then i now cannot play the game. its said to choose a new name then the game crashes. when i try to unlink google it says "Error linking to a social profile. Try again." i have a World of warships legends acc on xbox thats with that email but that should effect my PC acc right?

Same issue.. looks like someone just went through and hacked everyone's accounts on Steam. Eff If I know how to log into the game without my STEAM account.. its why I have it.
So I can just log into STEAM than play the DAMN game.

So I delete this file, then log in using my Warships Gaming account.. lol OK where is that information at? I have only used Steam.
Is it the STEAM account information.. what if you have already had to change your Steam email address.. is Wargaming still using the old one.. or the updated email.

Never had to log in through Wargaming.... I don't even know how. You cannot ask the Help Desk, as they want your Wargaming Account.. OK what is that..?

I am going to try to uninstall the game and reinstall it.. I am not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with some Wargaming account... Its why I have my games on Steam in the first place.

If that doesn't work.. well, I am just out 30 bucks that some Russian Gangsters stole and filing multiple complaints to Steam.. and try to get Wargaming Removed from their lists of games. lol
